Dealing with conflicts in a couple's relationship is of great importance for the success and satisfaction of the partnership. The book deals with the dynamics of partnership relationships and examines the conflict behaviour of couples in different family contexts. In addition to processes of change in conflict behaviour in stable couple relationships, a further focus is placed on the phase of transition to parenthood. In addition, interdependencies between the conflicts of parents and the child's well-being are presented and the mediating effects of the parent-child relationship are analysed.
