In the foundational work, established by Dr. Hermann Schulz-Borck and continued by Frank Pardey, it is explained how compensation for impairment or loss of unpaid work in private households is calculated over time. The remuneration tables provide additional information on the hourly billing rates specified in the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD), which can also serve as a reference for the judiciary. The use of these tables has been repeatedly approved by the Federal Court of Justice (BGH).
