Product details

Heyder Cengi, a Turk of Alevi faith, is staying illegally in Germany. One day he gets into the control of the labour office, a scuffle breaks out and a civil servant dies. Meanwhile, attorney Peter Schlüter is asked to prevent the extradition of Emin Gül to the Turkish justice system. Gül has been sentenced in his home country because he is said to be complicit in the deaths of 37 people. A miscarriage of justice, says Gül's uncle. Schlüter takes over the mandate, but when he is also confronted with the Heyder Cengi case, he is plunged into a conflict of conscience. A genocide committed decades ago still has an effect today.
