Therefore, not only must the student renew themselves, but the teacher must also innovate and motivate in order to convey the new guidelines of the job market to their students. The search for ways to teach accounting in a dynamic and interactive manner will become a significant challenge for educators in this field. This article not only reports on the current scenario but also provides a glimpse into the near future of the program, specifically at the Federal University of Maranhão, while encompassing a broader vision that includes accounting programs in general.
