Product details

14-year-old Tara carries a secret: she can feel the emotions of horses in an unfiltered way, and her only way to cope is to stay as far away from them as possible. Her older brother Pedro, who has been continuing the horse breeding at Hacienda Monte Sabio since their parents' death, is convinced that Tara has no affinity for horses. Everything changes when the promising breeding mare Calima arrives from Germany. However, the great hope for the Hacienda turns out to be a flop: wild and stubborn, the mare allows no one near her. Tara barely manages to prevent Pedro from selling Calima to a ruthless horse dealer and asks the mysterious half-Mongolian Naaira, who lives in the wilderness near the Ora spring, for help. Naaira recognizes Tara's special gift and teaches her to confront the feelings of the horses instead of resisting them. Tara then realizes that Calima also carries a secret within her. This adventure goes back in time and tells the backstory of the Ostwind series – with Ostwind as a foal.
