Kidnapping for Beginners: Tina and Markus are the most harmless couple in the world, but they are burdened with a massive debt. In his desperation, Markus robs a gas station, and his horrified wife accidentally witnesses the act. In their panic, they flee in the nearest car, unaware that it contains 87-year-old Oskar, who is being transported from one nursing home to another. Oskar is thrilled that something exciting is finally happening and turns out to be a clever former petty criminal. As the police and media begin their pursuit, the three fugitives embark on the adventure of their lives.
