I dedicate the content of these three lectures to the sick and suffering who want to know the source of their distress and still possess enough determination and self-overcoming strength to follow the path to health presented here. I also dedicate it to my esteemed colleagues and all thoughtful and intelligent people who wish to hear how the misery of ill health can be prevented. The fact that not one of the thousands of sick individuals I have come to know, even after long preliminary treatments, knew why they had fallen ill and why their illness would not subside, demonstrates the astonishing lack of knowledge about life and health among people of our time, even among the educated and learned classes.
