Opera work

Sergio Morabito was associated with the Stuttgart Opera for 25 years as a dramaturg and director; his work has received numerous awards. In this book, Morabito provides insights into the practice of opera dramaturgy and directing. He engages with important works from the opera repertoire and clearly and in detail demonstrates what can be considered his trademark: the endeavor to combine scientific knowledge with artistic freedom, and aesthetic practice with analytical rigor.
