Henrik Berggren, born in 1957, is a historian and journalist. He works as a senior editor at the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter.

Translator: Paul Berf
Paul Berf, born in 1963 in Frechen near Cologne, lives in Cologne as a freelance translator after studying Scandinavian studies. He has translated works by Henning Mankell, Kjell Westö, Aris Fioretos, and Selma Lagerlöf into German. In 2005, he was awarded the Translator's Prize by the Swedish Academy.

Translator: Susanne Dahmann
Susanne Dahmann studied history, Scandinavian studies, and philosophy at the universities of Kiel and Freiburg im Breisgau. After completing her master's degree, she worked at a non-fiction publishing house in Stuttgart. Since 1993, she has been translating books, primarily from Swedish but also from Danish. Her work encompasses both fiction and non-fiction. She has translated, among others, Henrik Berggren's books about Olof Palme and Dag Hammarskjöld, as well as Lena Einhorn's "Nina's Journey" and the Swedish and Danish texts of Fritz Bauer for the Fritz Bauer Institute in Frankfurt. Susanne Dahmann lives in Marbach am Neckar, where she runs a literary office for editing, translation, and cultural projects together with other colleagues.
