Product details
Olga Benario, born in 1908 as the daughter of a Jewish lawyer in Munich, joined the Communist Youth at the age of fifteen. Arrested in Berlin in 1927, she fled to Moscow and later to Brazil to prepare for the revolution. Delivered to the Gestapo, Olga Benario was gassed in 1942. Ruth Werner's biographical novel tells the poignant story of a woman who remained true to her political ideals until her death.
