Offsetpapiere, die für den Tintenstrahldruck geeignet sind

The work presented the investigations into the parameters of offset papers suitable for inkjet printing. Five types of paper (coated and uncoated) were used in two basis weights. They were printed with two types of inkjet machines - using water-based pigment inks and UV-curable inks. Before production, these two machines were calibrated. A special test was printed on the papers: ANSI IT8/7.3 color chart with 928 control fields. The spectral reflectance of all fields was measured with the SpectroScan (Gretag Macbeth), and the colorimetric properties were assessed under light type D50 and standard color observer, angle 2º. After determining the physicochemical and mechanical parameters, as well as the micro and macro structure of the papers, which exhibited the highest color gamut volumes, new papers were selected and their gamut volumes estimated. The highest color gamut volumes characterize offset prints produced on UV machines - they are similar to those of prints made on papers suitable for digital technology. The investigations demonstrated that offset papers can also be used for inkjet printing, particularly in UV technology.
