This book is the third in a trilogy on the overarching theme of 'The Transformation of Our Society'. The author's aim is to demonstrate that our rational consciousness alone is not capable of solving our global problems. Only an expanded consciousness that also takes its prerequisites into account will enable us to meet the global challenges. The prerequisites of our rational consciousness are our operational structures. Our individual operational structures correspond, on a societal level, to the operational structures of the economic system. However, contrary to sociological system theory, they operate in a different mode. The principle of their operation is, however, common to them. This is precisely what forms their unity and enables transformation. The transformation takes place within the operational structures. In our conceptual thinking, a transformation is impossible.
