That the power of the economy has surpassed political power is something no one will dispute. Georg Franck has discovered another economy that competes with the economy of money: the economy of attention as a struggle for a resource that is becoming increasingly scarce. The economy of attention functions similarly to the economy of money. Attention that is given to us can be compounded with some skill.
