With the advent of technology and access to information, society is placing ever higher demands on those in charge when it comes to delivering high-quality public services. With the new vision of providing public services, taxpayers today must be treated as customers of these services, and their contributions are required in exchange for taxes that are increasingly efficient and of higher quality. In every area of public services, society is seeking to improve the way they are delivered. Taxes are increasingly being controlled by a large portion of those who no longer wish to participate as passive parties, i.e., merely obedient payers, but now see themselves as 'customers.' Privatizations, concessions, and public-private partnerships can alleviate these symptoms of poor management that public administration in the country suffers from. The citizen is the protagonist and guardian of this model of public service management, which results in better outcomes in the delivery of services for society as a whole, whether it concerns large projects like roads, railways, etc., or small everyday tasks like the issuance of personal documents—a well-structured and monitored public-private partnership can assist here.
