Product details

The area of Upper Italy between Lake Maggiore and Lake Garda can be wonderfully explored by bike along the shores of charming rivers and lakes. The scenic diversity and cultural highlights make cycling in Upper Italy a truly special experience. Lake Garda can be explored on two tours: a circular route with a ferry crossing takes you around the southern part of the lake through popular holiday spots like Peschiera, Salò, and Lazise. On the northern shore, a challenging circular route begins in Riva del Garda, leading to the neighboring lakes of Idro and Ledro, two picturesque alpine lakes. The three river routes along the Oglio, Adda, and Ticino are characterized by impressive alpine landscapes and magnificent lakes: the Oglio cycle path runs through Lake Iseo, the Adda through Lake Como, and the Ticino through Lake Maggiore. Subsequently, all three meander through the vastness of the Po Valley to their mouths in the Po, Italy's longest river. The final tour connects the Ticino cycle path with the Adda cycle path along canals, passing through the remarkable metropolis of Milan with its unique cathedral.
