Upper Franconia has a traditional and colourful traditional costume landscape that has changed and renewed itself again and again over the centuries. Even today, historical but also contemporary revised models are worn on festive occasions. This volume is the first to provide an overview of this diverse world of traditional costume, its history and its future.
