Product details
The monolingual Spanish reading at level A1 marks the start of the new series 'España de arriba a abajo'. This consists of didactic texts aimed at young readers at level A1 to B2. In the first volume, the characters who recur in the series get to know each other: 4 young people from different countries come to Barcelona to learn the language and culture of the country. In order to earn the necessary money, they take part in a new project that aims to present Spain's most important cities with their monuments, squares, bars, etc. on the Internet. To do this, the young people explore the different districts of the respective city, in this case Barcelona. In this way, the readers learn - in addition to vocabulary and grammar - real details of the city. In addition, the information is completed and made clear with the help of parts of the city map. Since the protagonists are young people from Germany, England, France and Italy, the reading enables the pupils to identify with the main characters and leads to intercultural comparisons, a topic that is now indispensable in any language class. The reading itself contains a wide variety of exercises such as content and interpretation questions, internet research as well as grammar and lexis exercises appropriate to the text passage. There is a bilingual vocabulary section at the end of the book.
