Adoção Homoafetiva

The book "Homo-Affective Adoption" offers a comprehensive analysis of the development of social movements in Brazil, particularly regarding the institution of family and its transformation in the legal context. It highlights the various concepts and functions of family throughout history and examines the evolution of the adoption institution. The author, Thaise Lorena Santos da Silva, addresses the transformation of adoption from a selfish act to an expression of love and solidarity. Additionally, psychological studies on homosexuality and their impact on the development of children in homo-affective families are considered. By applying a phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, the discrepancy between the legal framework and the reality of homo-affective partnerships in the adoption process is revealed.
