I killed her because she belongs only to me. A jogger finds a woman's corpse on a bench in a cemetery in Niebüll. The deceased is made up and dressed like a doll. Investigators Stefanie Teufel and Jan Graf immediately notice a similar killing pattern to that of the cruel serial killer who terrorized the area a year ago and was successfully locked away – the puppet artist. But a call from Peeke turns everything upside down: the supposed perpetrator had already committed suicide in prison days ago. Was the inmate really not the true murderer, as he claimed? Or is there a copycat killer on the loose? While the two investigators draw parallels to the old cases, the killer has already set his sights on the next victim.
