Welcome to the world of dean&david! Joy and pride. These are the two feelings I experience when I hold the first book from dean&david in my hands. We have poured many ideas, passion, and above all, love into this book. We hope you enjoy it.

The idea of this book was not simply to print the recipes you know from dean&david on paper. This book aims for more. It wants to celebrate salads and their versatility. That’s why we have gone beyond the plate of dean&david and created salad recipes for every occasion.

For a quick meal at home: short and crisp. Lunch salads to take away: good and go. For a healthy and purposeful diet: wholesome and filling. And for evenings when you want to let loose a bit: friends and parties. To start, we present our ten highlight salad recipes from 16 years of dean&david.

For those who want to know more about how we think at dean&david and what fresh, healthy food means to us, you will find not only 50 creative salad recipes and plenty of tips and tricks on 152 pages, but also an interview with me and one with Teresa Tesche, who has been developing our recipes with me since the founding of dean&david in 2007.
