Ein Trauma wird zum Segen

The feeling of family cohesion and stability had always been foreign to Mona. It was her mother who cared for her with love and made her life valuable. They both shared a passion for Spain and horses. In her mid-twenties, Mona loses her mother in a riding accident. Nearing suicide, alone with her pain, she wonders how her life should continue. Ironically, Duenja, the mare responsible for her mother's death, gives her the strength and courage to embark on an unknown path. In search of the meaning of life, Mona questions the existence of security and develops a deep desire for freedom. She creates a new world for herself, far away from limiting thought patterns and her painful past.
