Nordfriesland - von einst bis jetzt

This book presents the diverse region of North Frisia in its temporal dimension. As a chronicle, it records significant events that gave a new direction to the passage of time, as well as smaller occurrences that reflect its unique characteristics. In addition to the main chronicle, selected events and developments are highlighted and presented. Following a portrait of the district of North Frisia, three major areas are treated separately in their chronological progression: literature, the visual arts by Dr. Uwe Haupenthal, and music by Prof. Dr. Ulf Bästlein. The book aims not only to convey facts and data and serve as a reference work but also to invite readers to browse, peruse, and immerse themselves in its content.
