Noetzel Intervals for piano

The sonorous piano pieces in this edition can be understood as ear training for pianists. Pianists are considered musical intellectuals because they read in two notation systems simultaneously and regularly have to master two or more musical processes at the same time. Eyes, mind, and all fingers are equally challenged. Unlike singers, wind players, or string players, who must have a conception of the desired tone, a pianist can press the keys without fully perceiving the acoustic event.
