Golden medals and trophies sparkle on the walls of his Paris home, and his dog siblings are all proud athletes. However, no one admires the little dachshund – yet Nickel is a great artist! Nickel is not just any dog. Chasing balls and sticks doesn’t interest him. Nickel has very different preferences – he paints, crafts, sculpts, and hides in his secret garden. His owners simply don’t understand his art and throw it away like holey socks! One fabulous day in the park, Nickel spots a curious, paint-splattered group of artists and, using his keen nose, sets out to follow their trail. The greatest adventure of his dog life begins: a well-behaved lap dog for his owners by day, a passionate artist among kindred spirits by night – if only no one at home notices his paint-smeared paws.
