NGOs im Zuge der Globalisierung

Since the 1990s, the realization has become ubiquitous: an unstoppable process of globalization is conquering the world. Its unbridled dynamism leads to political, economic, and social challenges increasingly becoming tasks at the global level, breaking free from the framework of national state action and influence. Under these circumstances, what could a functioning, just world order of the future look like? Experts from science and politics see NGOs as the actors who will complement the traditional governance architecture and significantly shape the global order in the future. Their work is already indispensable in many areas of national and international politics today. This book addresses the question of the development and role of NGOs in the context of globalization.
