Rauhnächte

The Rauhnächte – a time for reflection. This is not about traditions and old customs, but about our present lives and how we can navigate them better. Little known is the traditional significance of each of these twelve days: we lay the foundation for each new year during the days between the years by gathering ourselves and taking a little time each day to immerse in the specific quality of time and reflect on an important life theme. In the first part, the themes are introduced and explained, such as humility and devotion, truth and clarity, heart power, or self-care. In the second part, the practice section, questions are posed for us to engage with, and topics are addressed that correspond to the quality of each Rauhnacht. First, we look back and review the respective month (first Rauhnacht = January, etc.). Exercises are suggested for each day.
