Elke Heidenreich, born in 1943, lives in Cologne. Since 1970, she has been a freelance author and presenter for radio and television. Since 1983, Elke Heidenreich has been a columnist for the magazine "Brigitte" and regularly writes book reviews for various television and radio stations. In 2008, she was awarded the Hans-Bausch Media Prize, and in 2010 she received the Julius-Campe Prize.
