Negative Glaubenssätze aufspüren und verändern

Product details
Beliefs are formed based on individual biographical experiences and encompass convictions about oneself (e.g., "I am not important."), about relationships with others (e.g., "In relationships, one is not taken seriously."), as well as rules of conduct that one imposes on oneself and others (e.g., "Only rely on yourself!" "People should stand up for me!"). These dysfunctional beliefs and automatic thoughts influence our thinking, actions, and emotions. They function somewhat like an autopilot that, once activated, triggers the same thought patterns repeatedly, controls our behavior, shapes how we experience situations, and contributes to negative emotions and low self-esteem.
This card set is based on the assumption that every person has six motives (recognition, importance, reliability, solidarity, autonomy, and boundaries) that govern our behavior in interactions with others. It supports anyone who accompanies people in their development—whether in coaching, counseling, or psychotherapy. Together with the exercises described in the booklet, it offers a playful yet quick way to identify and restructure negative beliefs that might otherwise remain undiscovered. This way, negative beliefs lose their impact, and new behaviors and experiences become possible.
