Product details
The 10,000 Volt Creative Workshop that unleashes your creativity!
Nea Machina has become the creative bible of making, captivating students, agency creatives, artists, graphic designers, and individuals who design products while exploring the boundaries of what is possible. The book, now in its third edition, encourages the powerful use of the "special tool hand" alongside the computer and passionately advocates for the connection between reason and intuition.
What started as an experiment has evolved into the high-profile, proven practical workshop Nea Machina: a creative method that does not artificially limit itself to the mind and computer but also lets the "power instruments" of the gut and hand play a role.
In a self-experiment, Thomas and Martin Poschauko tested this creative machine. They set themselves the challenge of creating as many different works as possible within a four-month period, consistently building on a portrait and the title of the experiment: Nea Machina. The experiment gained momentum, resulting in 1,000 high-quality works, and they realized: madness has a method.
They turned this into their first book (unfortunately completely sold out and traded at high prices) and conducted numerous workshops, where they witnessed how even seemingly non-creative individuals became idea powerhouses. They refined their teaching methods and revised their workshop. They became celebrated speakers on stages around the world.
Thomas and Martin Poschauko open new horizons and encourage exploring new paths through letting go. They pack years of teaching experience, valuable tips, and stunning examples of their own work into this book. In doing so, they also engage hesitant individuals who cling to the familiar and shy doubters who wonder if they are creative.
With a unique blend of creative primal force and refined didactic structure, the two top designers lead the way.
