Product details
This work deals with the analysis of scientific papers on the topic of National Socialist film publicity. The aim is to demonstrate how the perspective on this subject has changed over time. The examined works, which date from 1963, 1991, 1994, and 2002, discuss various facets of the broad concept of National Socialist film publicity. On one hand, the topic of the general development of film publicity in relation to the totalitarian aspect is addressed, as well as the evolution of the symbiosis between war and camera, culminating in the propaganda company War Correspondent. On the other hand, entertainment films from World War II are analyzed for their existing ideology, and the final chapter presents the film as a means of power using the example of the NS Workers' Party. The content of all works is summarized in the form of a brief overview. From this, the existing perspective is filtered out in the subsequent section of critical points and presented through comparisons and analogies in the conclusion.
