Nationale Untersuchung zur Bildung, Betreuung und Erziehung in der frühen Kindheit (NUBBEK)

For the first time in Germany, a national study on education, care, and upbringing in early childhood was conducted within a research network of educators, developmental psychologists, sociologists, and behavioral biologists across eight federal states. Over 2,000 two- and four-year-old children and their families participated, including more than a quarter with a migration background, as well as approximately 570 kindergartens, nurseries, and day care facilities. The book explains and comments on the insightful results regarding the care situation and history, the quality of non-family care, the quality of interactions and relationships within families, and their connections to the developmental status of the children.
