The Boericke is a very comprehensive materia medica that often surpasses even multi-volume encyclopedias in the number of remedies described, yet remains handy. It is astonishing how many rare and obscure remedies can be found here. This was achieved by the author providing concise summaries for each remedy and focusing on the essentials. It is no wonder that it has been the most popular homeopathic reference work for decades. The present new translation is the most affordably priced and simultaneously the most comprehensive edition of Boericke. In addition to the more detailed remedies, Boericke outlined 700 additional rare remedies in the appendix, which were often only described fragmentarily due to sparse information and are otherwise not found anywhere else.
