Product details
Neither dynamically nor statically do I see beauty, but rather as I have seen you. Just as I have seen what allowed us to harmonize at a set hour and for a set time – and I hope and believe with all my soul that it can be established once more. "Nadja" is the story of a chance encounter that also seems to be the updating of a long-standing, extremely intense acquaintance. Nadja is depicted as a young woman who is mysteriously familiar with the narrator and intuitively approaches his life and thoughts. This narrative, published in 1928 and revised by the author in 1963, has long been considered a standard work of surrealism and is a foundational text of classical modernism. André Breton concludes it programmatically with a touching conclusion.
