Today, we understand literature to mean everything that is recorded in writing: from fiction to poetry to non-fiction and specialized literature. However, until the 20th century, a different premise prevailed: literature was considered an aesthetically valuable work of linguistic art that adheres to certain criteria and is characterized by high quality. This led to the canonization of certain works. This selection of universally recognized classics has not lost its relevance to this day; it reflects the conditions of the time and also allows us to recognize the present. Literature condenses the world while simultaneously deepening reality. Therefore, we have made it our mission to make classic novels available in their original form, thereby reviving the worlds created by the authors.
