They had a secret. They had to die. On a Sunday. In the residential building of a decommissioned factory, the body of a man is found. He is the former operator of the plant. Chief Inspector Pia Sander and her boss Oliver von Bodenstein make a gruesome discovery in the dog kennel on the premises: scattered human bones lie next to a nearly starving dog.
