Mu:Lange und kurze Balladen

The poetry collection 'Long and Short Ballads' concludes the extensive work of the lyricist Yang Mu. Across national and ideological boundaries, he was one of the most significant lyrical voices in the Chinese-speaking world. Rooted in traditional Chinese poetry, influenced by Western literary traditions, and inspired by the lush nature of the island of Taiwan, he created texts of great complexity and brilliance. This late work, both foreign and familiar at the same time, is being introduced to German readers for the first time here.
