Hunting has undergone a profound transformation in recent years. The industrialization of agriculture has pushed many animal species back. In contrast, the development in forests has been different: there is a shift towards nature-oriented forestry and increasing wildlife populations can be observed. This results in increasingly complex hunting tasks. This book guides (new) tenants and accompanies them - month by month - through many facets of managing and caring for a forest area. The necessary practical hunting activities throughout the year, as well as habitat improvement measures and area facilities, are presented and explained, along with some bureaucratic details.
