When it comes to waste, it's always about separation. That's why I say, waste is the best school for thinking. You have the categories, or rather bins. Without clear separation, you can forget about any recycling. And I haven't even touched on the hazardous materials yet. At one of the Vienna waste disposal sites, strict order prevails, until one day a human knee is found in the bulky waste bin. Soon, more body parts appear in other bins, all of which were improperly disposed of, much to the dismay of the waste collectors. Only the heart of the dismembered victim is missing without a trace. The criminal police are at a loss. Fortunately, among the waste collectors is a former colleague who not only finds the missing heart along with a cover letter but also never forgot what one must consider in a murder case. And with that, Simon Brenner finds himself not only in a new case but also in deep trouble.
