Product details
This other guidebook to the Bavarian Pre-Alps is up to date. All routes have been traveled by the author in recent years, meaning that no closed paths are suggested. There are many new trails to discover. The extensive and current illustrations created by the author, combined with detailed route descriptions, provide users with an optimal foundation to prepare for their chosen tour. Numerous tips on extraordinary rest spots and summit climbs complete each tour. All tour suggestions in this volume about the Chiemgau Alps provide a quick overview of difficulty, trail enjoyment, fitness level, riding performance, and elevation gain. An additional brief description provides information about the condition of the terrain for each section of the routes. The tour compilation avoids main traffic routes and includes, depending on riding ability, very few carrying sections. All information is also stored on a CD for printing, allowing it to be reused repeatedly. This way, users always have the necessary information (elevation profile, map excerpt, roadbook) with them. The A4 sheet is designed so that users can keep the roadbook on the front and back of a C6 plastic sleeve, eliminating the hassle of flipping pages! The roadbook is also not overloaded with unnecessary information and is clearly structured. Additionally, all tours are provided as GPS tracks in all common formats. A user manual offers further information on using GPS data.
