Destination 901

The development from the four-seater prototype 530 to the 901 is one of the most exciting decades in Porsche history. Numerous previously unpublished original documents provide a detailed picture of concepts, constructions, backgrounds, and decisions. A central role is played by the Type 695, whose final design was ultimately built as a one-off and serves as a model for the Type 754. Notes, meeting minutes, and memoranda document why the grand Porsche fails and why Ferry Porsche makes a drastic shift to a completely new project: the T8, which will soon receive the type number 901.
