Mord in Cornwall

Reverend Dodd is a vicar in a sunny fishing village on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall. He spends his evenings engrossed in crime novels in his armchair. God forbid that the shadow of a real crime should fall over his small seaside community. However, the vicar's peace is sharply disturbed one stormy night when the unpopular judge Julius Tregarthan is found dead in his home. Police Inspector Bigswell never expected to have to solve a murder in his quiet coastal village. It’s no surprise that he quickly reaches the limits of his imagination when questioned about the circumstances of the crime or the motives behind it. Fortunately, the vicar, as an avid reader of detective novels, has more than enough ideas. And he is ready to put his sharp mind to the test in solving the murder case. However, when Ruth, the niece of the murdered man, and her boyfriend become the main suspects, Vicar Dodd loses interest in the detective game. Now, he must clear them of all suspicion. But can he solve the mysterious murder without any clues? Or does he need divine assistance for that?.
