Business process and resource models can currently only be used to a limited extent for examining resource utilization, as relevant characteristics are not adequately represented. For this reason, this work designs the Resource Modeling Language (RML) and integrates it into business process modeling through resource networks. The tool RAvEN is developed for modeling and analysis. The analysis of resource utilization is conducted through simulation experiments.
