Off to the desert - this theme takes center stage in the latest edition. The large H0 layout "Golden Spike," which we present, is inspired by the BNSF rail lines in Kingman Canyon, Arizona, on the edge of the Mojave Desert. This is complemented by the construction of typical desert plants from the barren landscape of the western USA and the formation of a dried-up riverbed. Water is also scarce at "Purgatory Peak" in the Colorado mountains - the mining railroad in 0n30 leads into the rugged mountains. Additionally, the trip to South America targets the stony desert of the Andes. Here, we showcase the "Ferrocaril Andino," an H0m layout that runs along the shores of Lake Titicaca. In contrast, Stuttgart/Arkansas boasts the lush nature of the Southern states. Here, rice and cotton primarily contribute to a significant freight volume, which is reflected in our layout proposal for shunting enthusiasts.
