Slowly but surely, oriental dishes, especially hummus, tabbouleh, and shakshuka, are becoming more well-known and popular with us. The oriental cuisine is characterized by a great diversity: it spans from the countries of the Middle East to the Arab world and also includes Turkish and North African cuisine. Our author, Britta König, is an absolute fan of the oriental world. From her travels, she has always brought back spices and delicious recipes, experimenting with them in her own kitchen. Since 2003, she has been sharing her knowledge and the tastiest dishes in courses at local adult education centers. In this volume, she finally has the opportunity to put her creations on paper and has compiled over 40 recipes that provide a comprehensive insight.
