Product details
Every year, companies outsource billions of euros worth of operating units to external third parties. Isabelle Wrase pursues the hypothesis that successful outsourcing enables the host company to better motivate the employees taken over and thus benefit from their knowledge. In doing so, she incorporates resource-oriented and motivational psychological approaches as well as an empirical examination based on a survey of affected employees. As a consequence for practice, it follows that the host company should carry out an employee takeover primarily in entire teams in order to protect itself from a loss of knowledge in the long term.
