In mixed-age learning, teachers must bring together two orientations. On one side are the children with their varying developmental and learning stages, and on the other side is the curriculum with the expected competencies and learning objectives. Learning maps help teachers, children, and parents bridge the gap between these two orientations. The publication demonstrates the potential applications of learning maps.
