Lucas Meyer, born in 1991, was well on his way to climbing the career ladder. He worked at a bank, studied economics, and earned good money. Then it became too much for him, and he quit everything. He went to Morocco and spent a summer trekking through the mountains with a donkey. "With the Donkey Over the Mountain" is a story about a new beginning in a distant land, a journey through another world far from civilization, and a deep friendship between man and animal.
