Mit Cannabis leben

After many years of relative quiet regarding hashish and marijuana, cannabis is experiencing a resurgence today. This is primarily due to the shift from prohibition to partial legalization and regulation of cannabis that took place in spring 2024, which the current governing coalition of SPD, FDP, and BÜNDNIS 90/Die Grünen has implemented in response to the failure of cannabis prohibition. The contributions in this volume reflect these new political frameworks, which must also be understood as a challenge. For example, prevention can no longer be designed as a continuation of a repressive abstinence policy using social pedagogical means, but must evolve into a health-promoting drug policy. Against this backdrop, the volume presents insights, methods, and practical projects that address the future reality of normalized cannabis consumption and a regulatory cannabis policy.
