Since 2017, the hashtag #MeToo has become one of the most powerful terms in the fight against gender injustice on social media. More and more cases have come to light since then, and they are being discussed more loudly and controversially. Support for individuals, especially women, who speak out publicly about abuse has grown stronger, but the backlash has also become harsher.
