The workbook edition of the course consists of four consecutive workbooks with a total of 208 pages for grade 1 and 160 pages for grades 2 and 3 (no thematic workbooks). Compared to the book edition, the workbooks offer additional pages for practice, differentiation, and individualization (choice pages). This keeps copying efforts manageable. The individual workbooks are lightweight and reduce the weight of school backpacks. Furthermore, they provide additional motivation: children can look forward to a new Mathetiger workbook four times a year. The work plan allows for individual learning pace and documents learning progress.
